Please be aware Rachel has a half-time post and her days off are Mondays and Thursdays.

Rachel has been priest in our Benefice since January 2019. She is grateful and excited to be serving such generous, supportive and creative communities. She has two main messages: ‘you are loved and precious to God as the person you are’ and, ‘faith can be really tough, keep going because God is faithful!’ She is always looking for new ideas and partnerships for how our churches can welcome and serve our communities in ever deepening, living ways. Rachel and the ministry team pray daily for these parishes – if you ever have anyone or anything you would like particular prayer for, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

LLM (Licensed Lay Minister) – Jane Connell

We are delighted that Jane has recently joined the Bluebell Benefice ministry team. Jane brings with her a passion for prayer and exploring the different creative and holistic ways in which we speak and listen to God. Jane also works on the Lighthouse Cafe Team and for Under the Thinking Tree, leading quiet days and retreats focused on healing and well-being. Jane is also a trained Spiritual Director. ALM (Authorized Lay Minister) for Music – Sheila George

Sheila has served in our churches and sung in the Gransdens’ Choir for over fifty years! As both ALM Music and Choir Director, her role is encouraging and drawing out the gifts of music in our Benefice in all their many forms. Sheila is also an avid bell ringer, helping teach and lead the extensive ringing community. There is not much Sheila does not know about these parishes!
